The Triumph TR3 replaced the ageing TR2 in 1961 but was quite short-lived in production. Always in a light metallic olive finish with red seats, the only variation with this model is in the style of wheels. Despite starting production when the shaped wheel was being fitted generally across the range, the Triumph TR3 is more commonly found with the smooth type.
This example has the later shaped wheels and is in very good condition. It has one or two small marks to the paintwork but really very minor as you can see from the photos. It has a replacement screen.
The silver work at the front is very good and the wheels and tyres like new. The base is clean without the usual signs of rush. A nice example for any collection.
