Built in real life between 1958 and 1967, the Austin A40, also known as the A40 Farina, was built by BMC and classed as a small family car. Over 340,000 were built during its lifetime and it came as a two door saloon, three door hatchback or three door van. Our model is based on the two-door family saloon, registered AJG 204B from 1964 and for its latest outing is decorated in a delicate pale green with creamy white roof and silver trim. The A40 marque is also finished in silver on the rear while the Austin badge is printed on the front of the bonnet. A fine piece of 1960s nostalgia!
